In 2002 Gabe Bridger, a designer in Chicago, bought a MINI Cooper. He liked it so much he started blogging about it. That blog grew into its own site and soon MotoringFile.com was the preeminent source for MINI news and enthusiast discussion. I started reading and commenting on the site regularly in 2004, and finally nabbed a MINI of my own in 2006. In 2010, Gabe brought me onboard as the Senior Editor.
