Computer generated 3D animation has become so commonplace that it’s easy to forget just how difficult it is to work in this medium. But beyond the challenges of producing content in this digital medium, you’ve got to have some nugget of a good story. In this case, it’s a robot battle royale. Hat’s off to its creator and thanks for sharing!

    Love this stuff. Had this been around some 40 years ago I would have gone into this type of animation. I have a nephew who just graduated for the Art Institute who now works for Bent Image Lab in Portland.

    Yeah, I’ve dabbled here and there and it’s just unfathomably time-consuming. Even after you get good at it, if you don’t have somebody writing simulations for you, the smallest things just take forever!
